I like all of it, but I guess my favorite would have to be pecan pie with real whipped cream.

Besides mashed potatoes with gravy and rolls, my Gigi used to make fruit salad....fruit cocktail with bananas and apples and real whip cream. We would all "fight" over who would get those little tiny and few cherries! One year, Gigi brought out a jar of marichino cherries so we would all get a cherry! It's one of my favorite memories I cherish! :)

Gathered family members blessing the table of my mother we shared traditional turkey and ham. Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, wonderful dressing with cranberry sauce. My sister's broccoli rice cassorole.Bevies of sweets eaten between smiles sharing our lives. My favorite food was my mothers heavenly hash which my daughter now shares on her Thanksgiving table. A memory that reminds me how much I love each of my family, the giggles, the secrets, the attempt to live each moment when we live so far away from everyone. Tonight I sat here in a silent joy thinking of all the holidays we once shared.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays. I love the turkey, and it's leftovers. But the Pecan Pie with real whip cream, I get that once a year.

All of it: hot turkey with lots of gravy, fruit salad with lots of whipped cream and pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream. Then a nice long nap!

All the food and family and friends...I like this holiday better than Christmas it is way less stressful. I am loving Jan's turkey/pepper Jack cheese/cranberry sauce quesadillas made with fresh flour tortillas. Holycow these sound really yummy.!!!

My favorite Thanksgiving food, hmm, all of them. Though I love having turkey breast with rich gravy stacked on a pile of stuffing the next day and turkey and rice soup a couple days after that.

My favorite is the day after Thanksgiving when I take all the left overs and make FILLING. Gramma would take all the left overs, layer them in a baking dish, and top them with gravy. then heat it slowly in the oven till warm. BUT my favorite Thanksgiving Day food is the cranberry sauce. Home made of course.
